The Beginning

From her first job working at her family’s pharmacy to her time working in a nursing home, Kelly Litmer has always dedicated her life to helping others. She finally found her niche when a tip from a friend landed her a job at a major insurance carrier in 2003. And so began her life-long passion for helping Medicare clients.

Taking Medicare into Her Own Hands

But she could only offer so much help working for an insurance carrier. Kelly recognized the limitations of only providing one plan option to everyone, despite their unique situation. Kelly saw a problem and was passionate about finding a solution. She knew she could do more to help as a local, independent agent who intimately understands the networks, the options, and how to find the right solution for her clients.

Thus, she founded TriState Med-Care in 2009, where she has taken Medicare into her own hands and changed the game on what it means to be an agent—offering education and peace of mind to her clients first.

In 2013, her partner in crime, Brian Meyer, joined the team after six years of working for larger agencies and coming to a similar realization that he preferred the personal interactions of a local agency and wanted to provide his clients with the best possible experience.
